David Pashley
Data & Organizing Consultant
Dave (he/him) began his collaboration with PYV and their student leaders when he served as a Field Organizer at SEAMAAC. He helped pilot a program that proved to the School District that their model of relational organizing and investment in student leaders was an effective and powerful model for voter registration across the district. Dave was also a core member of the team at SEAMAAC that launched their Hunger Relief program in March 2020. For Dave, civic engagement is an integral part of any work he does as he continues to fight for a future where young people have a voice, where working class people of all races and genders are given the support they need to thrive, where we invest in robust systems of community care, and where our political leaders are actually accountable to and representative of the people they serve. Because of this, Dave recently ran for and was elected as Committeeperson in Olde Kensington where he is working with his neighbors to take power back from developers, to support an open ward system, and to increase voter turnout.
