Cecilia Schleinitz
Student Ambassador
Cecilia Schleinitz (she/her) is a student at Temple University pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Economics. She previously organized social advocacy initiatives in her home state of Massachusetts before moving to Philadelphia in 2022. Cecilia held the role of Events Organizer for her local chapter of the Sunrise Movement, a youth-led climate initiative focused on promoting the Green New Deal. At Temple, she serves on the board of the Economics Society and is an active member of the Political Science Society, Women in Economics, Diversity in Economics, and the Delta Rho chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honors Society). Cecilia strives promote diverse representation of racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups in local and national government through social advocacy, education, and compassion.
